Light of Morning

©2011-2012 by Nava -all rights reserved     Yesterday was a beautiful day and I walked across to road to the apple trees in bloom.  They hold fond memories for me from when I was a child.  Almost nothing is more beautiful to me as fruit tree blossoms in the morning light.  I often think of the gifts that God has given us---such a pretty flower---and then the beautiful fruit for us to enjoy.   (apple pie)  :)

"He is like the LIGHT of MORNING at SUNRISE on a cloudless morning, like the brightness after rain that brings grass from the earth."

I am calling you

Full of Sunshine

                            I love looking for the hidden treasures within a flower.  I found sunshine in our new spring Daffodils this morning.  They offer a lot--and they do not visit for very long--they are tougher then they look--and seem to survive all kinds of  conditions.   We see them on old homestead places after the home is long gone.  I think of the little lady in her bonnet and apron that might have been planting the bulbs--years ago.  They are still coming up to say 'hello'! 

 This scripture comes to mind because of the 'light' and 'balance':
                           
"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path."   Psalm 19:105

                             I have enjoyed the comments on my post about 'Balance'--so what comes to mind is that just as I was out enjoying the Daffodils, I also need to search the hidden treasures that God has for me---and then hopefully I would be like the Daffodils--tough and ready for the day---and oh yes----full of sunshine!

Beautiful Balance

                      Balance is an interesting thing~~~it is something that I strive for and never seem to achieve ~~~at least to my satisfaction.  I think most of us 'want' balance.  I know that I need to start my day with some quiet time before I am off and running.  Would love to hear your ideas on how you order your day~~~and home.

BALANCE

                       As a nature photographer, I never get bored.  I see more detail through the lens than I would ever notice otherwise.  God designed these creatures to handle all kinds of weather, flight and 'BALANCE'.
                       Last week--I mentioned 'TIME'--and I am struggling with 'Balance' in my life---I want to do better this year--and I love what some of you wrote in.  At least now I know I have company.   I realize we will never have perfect balance---because we are not perfect--but we need to be aware and not fall into 'traps'---and have regrets.  I would like to hear your thoughts about 'regrets'---what would we 'regret' should something in our life were to change suddenly.
                       From 'Jesus Calling'---"It is easy to make an idol of routine, finding security within the boundaries you build around your life."
