Surprise Gifts

It is glorious to see the little gifts that God gives us in nature.   We just have to slow down---and be in the moment---and say, "Thank you Lord!"

WINGS OF THE DAWN

©2011-2012 by Nava -all rights reserved
"If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast."    Psalm 139:9-10
This is a beautiful verse out of Psalms that paints a picture for us we can remember when going through uncertain times.

DO NOT FEAR

©2011-2012 by Nava -all rights reserved

The little Jerusalem Donkey obeys his momma----'sort-of'----when she commands him to leave the area when the photographer arrives.
"For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you."  -- Isaiah 41:13
Hope the scripture brought comfort--and the photo a smile.  :)   Let me hear your thoughts.

HELLO!

"Quietly contemplate the Lamb as the LIGHT of heaven.  Light in Scripture is the emblem of JOY."  (Spurgeon)
As we are expecting sleet, ice and snow---I will choose to look through some of my photos when it was light, bright and warm outside.  If you have never researched the Sunflower, I would challenge you to do so---and think about the complex design in one of our most SPOTLIGHT flowers.   It is like God is waving HELLO---!

FLOWER OF HEAVEN

©2011-2012 by Nava -all rights reserved

"Now CONTENTMENT is on of the flowers of heaven, and, if we would have it, it must be cultivated.  It will not grow in us by nature; it is the new nature alone that can produce it----" (by Surgeon)
I love the thought that contentment is a FLOWER of heaven----I like to think of my spiritual garden---and how it has to be 'weeded'---and cultivated.   It gives me an earthly way to think of what has to be done in an everyday way.    We all need that quiet place to go---to reflect---to pray--and read scripture to see what He has to say to us for that day.

Would love to hear your thoughts------
