Baby Jesus---Little Lamb--card

          'Baby Jesus---Little Lamb--card'            The story I am about to tell may just have meaning for me even though it shows that God works in mysterious ways and there are messages in the 'little' things if we watch for them. 
           This card was sent to me when I was six years old--and survived many hard moves across country and back again.  The lady that sent the card to me lived across the street from a university.
            I painted this in oil on canvas--once in the 1960s and then 30 years later for my little granddaughter.  She is now attending the university across the street from where the card was sent.  The most unlikely place for her to be for different reasons.  In my wildest dreams I would never have guessed this might be a possiblity.
            I thought this little card was lost and it was found again--to be on my tree this year--to remind of us about God's messages in the 'little' things in life.   ~~a whisper~~a still small voice~~a song~~a touch~~a twinkle in a baby's eye~~the freedom in the laughter of a child~~a 'Baby Jesus~~Little Lamb' card~~
